The KPK Is Still Keeping It A Secret When To Call AKBP Bambang Kayun
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) does not want to talk about the summons of AKBP Bambang Kayun. This institution only ensures that it will step on the gas to investigate the alleged bribery and gratification that ensnared the Bhayangkara Corps member.
"Don't say when the summons will be, what is clear is that the process against the BK suspect is already under investigation by the KPK," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri to reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, December 15.
After Bambang's pretrial lawsuit was rejected by the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Firli said, his party would immediately work. He ensured that this process would be carried out in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
"Of course we will take further action in accordance with applicable legal provisions," he said.
As previously reported, AKBP Bambang Kayun was named a suspect in alleged bribery and gratification related to falsification of letters during the case for the seizure of the rights of the heirs of PT Aria Citra Mulia (ACM). He is suspected of getting billions of rupiah to the Toyota Alphard car.
Bambang then filed a pretrial at the South Jakarta District Court. He sued because he did not accept being named a suspect by the KPK.
However, the lawsuit was rejected by the Sole Judge of the South Jakarta District Court, Agung Sutomo Thoba. Bambang's determination as a suspect is considered to have complied with the procedure.
"Declaring that the applicant's pretrial cannot be accepted," said Agung when reading the verdict at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, December 13.
