3 Junior High School Students In Ciracas Arrested While Eating Snacks Curian Results
JAKARTA - Three teenagers were caught on CCTV cameras stealing snacks at a Gang Batur Ujung shop, Ciracas District, East Jakarta. The perpetrators stole snacks hanging in front of the shop.
The three perpetrators carried out the theft using a motorcycle. Worse, the incident occurred during the day and was caught on CCTV.
The victim as the shop owner immediately looked for the whereabouts of the perpetrator. When the victim found the perpetrators, the perpetrators were caught eating snacks stolen.
But when he was about to be arrested, the perpetrator managed to escape. The victim also reported to the Ciracas Police. The perpetrators were then arrested and mediated.
The Head of Ciracas Police, Kompol Jupriono, said that his party had mediated against the parents of the perpetrators and victims.
"We have finished it. We are looking for (the perpetrators) and we collect parents, victims and community leaders. There are no demands and no legal proceedings. It is peaceful, mediation," said Kompol Jupriono when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, December 13.
Kompol Jupriono said his party did not detain the perpetrators because they were still children.
"The perpetrators are 13 and 14 years old, still active in junior high school. The case has been resolved, (the perpetrators) are still children too," he said.
