JAKARTA - The network of motorcycle theft perpetrators (curanmor) was arrested by the Tambora Police. Of the three perpetrators, two of them were collectors of crime proceeds. Meanwhile, the main perpetrator is known to have the initials BW alias Otoy (22) a resident of Jalan Sawah Lio IV, Tambora. Meanwhile, two other custodians, with the initials II alias Daglok (27) are residents of Jalan Kapuk Raya and SH alias Tina (26) a woman from Semanan, Kalideres. The disclosure of the theft network was carried out starting from the arrest of the perpetrator Otoy after carrying out the theft of a motorbike belonging to the victim named Saleh (63). The Pekojan resident's grandfather became a victim of theft while performing the Silat in Gang Kayu, Pekojan, Tambora. Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said the perpetrator carried out his action with his colleague with the initials G (DPO). The perpetrator in the last 2 months managed to steal 5 motorbikes in different places.

After the victim made a report to the Tambora Police, the police pursued the perpetrator with the initials Otoy. Armed with the results of the information and the collection of evidence, the perpetrator with the initials Otoy was arrested in the Mangga Besar area, Tamansari, West Jakarta. "After successfully securing the perpetrators, we summoned the other victims. The perpetrators often commit various crimes of motorcycle theft in Tambora," he said. From the statements of the two custodians, they admitted to buying a motorbike from the suspect for Rp. 400 - Rp. 500 thousand per unit of the motorbike. The suspect Otoy was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a criminal threat of nine years. Meanwhile, the other two custodians were charged with Article 480 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of four years in prison.
