Commemorating PT Pertamina's 65th Anniversary, PGN Salurkan 9,200 Gas In Bekasi
JAKARTA - In the context of the 65th Anniversary of the Oil and Gas Holding of PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PGN Tbk distributed GasKita for 9,200 household connections (SR) in Rawalumbu, Bekasi, West Java, on Saturday, December 10.
"Apresiasi kepada PGN bersama warga yang semangat hari ini. Akan ada layanan gas di rumah-rumah. Nanti, ada kemudahan-kemudahan bagi para ibu untuk membak. Mudah-mudahan bisa lebih nyaman mem cooking," kata Camat Rawalumbu Nia Amina Kurniati, Sabtu, 10 Desember.
"Hopefully it will be given smoothness because later the benefits will be for the people of Rawalumbu," he continued.
In a press release received, PGN is known to have built 9,200 gas stations in Rawalumbu District in stages with gas supplies from Pagardewa and Medco.
GasKita is part of the construction of 400.000 SR jargas in 2022 using PGN's internal investment.
Di sisi lain, Area Head PGN Bekasi Reza Maghraby menjelaskan, PGN menargetkan pembangunan 20.775 SR di seluruh wilayah PGN Area Bekasi pada 2022.
The targeted areas include Pondok Pekayon Indah Housing, Kemang Pratama, Galaxy, Taman Narogong Indah Housing, and Pondok Hijau Permai Housing.
"Through GasKita, we offer conveniences that can be felt directly. Residents don't have to worry about running out of gas because it flows 24 hours," said Reza.
The Gas Kita service provides free installation of pipes from gas meters to stoves for a maximum of 15 meters.
In addition to installing pipes, customers also get free conversion of two stove stoves which usually use tubes to be converted into pipe gases.
The use of Gas Kita for households is an average of 4-50 m3. For safety, the gas meter is placed in a place that is easily accessible to officers.
In addition, there are two gas taps near the stove and meter.
"If something goes wrong, the valve near the stove can be closed. If it will leave the house for a long time, it is advised to close the valve near the meter, so that the gas flowing to the house will stop automatically," explained Reza.
In the event of an unwanted fire, Gaskita provided fire insurance of Rp. 30 million for one time.
"Another convenience is that gas payments are made once a month according to usage. Gas bills appear every 6th, then are paid from 6th to 20th. Customers are advised to download the PGN Mobile application to monitor gas usage which will be paid in real time," said Reza.
For payments, said Reza, it can be made at payment counters, such as Alfamart and Indomaret, bank transfers, e-commerce such as Tokopedia and Shopee, as well as digital wallets such as Dana, Gopay, and LinkAja.
