Makes Omzet Trader Official Merosot, Central Jakarta Provincial Government Ordered Street Vendors In Front Of The Nangka Market

The Central Jakarta City Administration Government immediately brought order to hundreds of street vendors (PKL) selling on the sidewalk in front of the Nangka Bungur Market, Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Utan Panjang Village, Kemayoran.

"Yes, there were 100 traders there who held stalls on the front sidewalk of the Nangka Market," said Utan Panjang Village Head, Amadeo when contacted in Jakarta, Friday. Meanwhile, the head of the Nangka Market, Sriyono, said that his staff hoped that the existence of street vendors in front of the Nangka Bungur Market could be brought under control. "In the past, it was originally orderly again and inside market traders also complained, because there were market traders outside or the counter market," Sriyono said. Sriyono explained as many as 15 traders inside who came out to sell in the counter market. "And there are traders who sell in the inner market, they came out because they say that no visitors entered. Because outside of visitors it was more comfortable shopping outside the market, using motorbikes immediately left," he said.

In addition, he also said that most of the traders outside sell such as fruit, coconuts, vegetables, chickens, meat and so on. "Everything should be inside, but the place is limited and small, but only 38 stalls are available inside," he added. Previously, Acting (Pj) DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono instructed Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma to rearrange three traditional markets in the region. "I ask that there be good market examples, there are three markets, namely Serdang Market, Nangka Bungur Market and Rawa Ox Market. We ask for that to be repaired," Heru said at the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office, Monday, December 5. This was conveyed during a leadership meeting (rapid) with the Central Jakarta City Government at the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office, Gambir. Heru said, the restructuring of traditional markets was carried out to make traders and buyers feel comfortable.
