Of The 4 Cases Handled, The Bengkulu Attorney General's Office Addressed Rp13.3 Billion In State Currency
BENGKULU - The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) handled four corruption cases during 2022 originating from various regions in Bengkulu Province. A total of Rp13.3 billion in state losses have been saved in handling the case.
"The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office during 2022 has handled four cases and it is likely to increase if the materials that are still being collected have been fulfilled," said Kajati Bengkulu Germany in Bengkulu City, Friday, December 9, quoted from Antara. He said that saving state money from four cases was a case of the oil palm replanting program at the North Bengkulu Regency Plantation Service in 2019-2020 with a budget of Rp. 21 billion and state losses of around Rp. 9 billion. The budget comes from the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) to support government programs in the development of palm oil. Then the case of land acquisition for the Bengkulu - Curup toll road construction project with a total budget of Rp. 190 billion with an estimated state loss of more than Rp. 13 billion and in this case it is suspected that there is a mark-up land price.
Furthermore, the case of corruption in the work to replace the Air Taba Terunjam bridge is worth Rp48 billion with potential state losses that are still in the process. "The case was previously handled by the Central Bengkulu District Attorney's Office, but because it involved two regions, namely Benteng Regency and North Bengkulu Regency, Le Kejati has been delegated," he said. As well as cases of alleged corruption at the Mukomuko District Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office with state losses of around Rp. 1.3 billion The Head of the Mukomuko Regency PUPR Service, there were three activities, namely road improvement projects in the Teramang Jaya District, Air Ramai District, Sungai Rumbai District and Air Majunto District with a contract value of more than Rp5 billion by PT Citra Muda Nur Brothers. He said, road improvements in the Air Makunto District, XIV Koto and Malin Deman with a work contract value of more than Rp6 billion by PT Dekky Karya Bestari as well as a road reconstruction project for SP 1 Lubuk Mukti-Sukmaju, Jalan Simpang Kasidi-Arga Jaya-Tirta Kencana-Marga Mulya-Bukit Harapan by using special allocation funds in the 2021 budget amounting to Rp10 billion.
