Return To Visit Cianjur, Prabowo Finds Out The Needs Of Residents Affected By The Earthquake
CIANJUR - Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto again visited the people affected by the Cianjur earthquake. Prabowo's visit this time took place at the Refugee Command Post in Cijedil Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java, Wednesday, December 7.
When visiting the refugee post which is the Kopassus Command Post, Prabowo checked facilities and infrastructure, including public kitchens, to find out the development of assistance for the community.
"I came to see the current conditions and what we can add to help ease the burden on residents who were victims of the earthquake," Prabowo said in his statement, Wednesday, December 7, as reported by Antara.
Prabowo then thanked the TNI, Polri, and local governments who had reacted together to ease the suffering of the people affected by the earthquake.
"Hopefully it will recover soon and we can all carry out normal life again," said Prabowo.
On that occasion, Prabowo handed over assistance in the form of 800 food packages for people affected by the earthquake and motorbikes for Babinsa to help his duties access disaster areas.
Also accompanying Prabowo Subianto during the visit were Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (Wakasad) Lt. Gen. Agus Subianto, Commander of Korem 061/Suryakancana, and Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman.
