Pasuruan Continues To Optimize The Utilization Of DBH-CHT To Support Development Programs In All Lines
JAKARTA - Throughout 2022, the Pasuruan Regency Government will continue to maximize the use of Tobacco Products Excise Sharing Funds (DBH-CHT). The goal is for sure, to fully support the implementation of development programs in Pasuruan Regency to be more advanced in all lines.
The use of DBH CHT, one of which is used to improve the quality of public health. This has been regulated by the Central Government that the portion of DBH-CHT allocation is used in the health sector.
"As for the portion of DBH-CHT distribution this year, 10 percent is for law enforcement, and 40 percent is in the health sector. While the other 50 percent is used to improve people's welfare," said Pasuruan Regent Irsyad Yusuf when meeting media crews, in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 5 evening.
In the health sector, he explained, the Pasuruan District Health Office uses it to improve the quality of health services. Both those used to improve the infrastructure quality of Regional General Hospitals and the completeness of the necessary medical equipment infrastructure.
"The tax, the grand design for the use of DBH-CHT," he said.
In Pasuruan itself, there are two hospitals that receive the allocation of DBH-CHT, namely Bangil Hospital and Grati Hospital. At Bangil Hospital, its use is allocated for the procurement of medical devices and medical devices, including Infusion Pump, Patient Strecher, Syring Pump, Soreoscocopy, Electro for Neuru Set, ICU Beds, Central Monitor and Ventilator Patients, procurement of drugs, consumables, and rehabilitation of hospital buildings.
Rehabilitation and maintenance of the Puskesmas is also carried out. This was carried out at the Beji, Ngempit, Kraton, Bulukandang, Pulungan, Nongkojajar and the Kedawung Wetan Health Center. Including the rehabilitation of the Pasrepan Sub-Pustu Health Center (Pustu), Winong Gempol and Gunting Sukorejo.
Meanwhile, in the livestock and animal health sector, DBH-CHT is used to support the implementation of the KASI BERSING MESRA (Berti Bersama Family Awareness of Stunting Towards a Prosperous Family) program.
There is also GERMISU (Milk Drinking Movement) targeting 700 stunting toddlers (1,400 packages) in 20 stunting locations. In addition, DBH-CHT is also used to maximize the Poh Gading Rest Area program, Pasrepan District.
Furthermore, Pasuruan Regent Irsyad Yusuf said, so that the results would have a more significant impact, he instructed all Heads of Regional Apparatus to further optimize programs and activities sourced from DBH-CHT.
"The target is that the planned activity will have a positive impact on the community. That way, its utilization is more targeted. Not only in the field of law enforcement through an educational socialization agenda to break the chain of production, distribution and distribution of illegal cigarettes, but also in the realm of health and community welfare," he explained.
In addition to focusing on the health sector, Pasuruan also uses DBH-CHT to accelerate economic growth. Because, said Regent Irsyad Yusuf, rising from the pandemic is the goal of utilizing DBH-CHT.
"What is done includes repairing damaged roads. As is the case with the regulations for the use of DBH-CHT which includes the Social Environment Development Program, including budget allocation for improving the quality of road infrastructure and empowering the community's economy," he explained.
In addition, the use of DBH-CHT is also optimized to increase the productivity of MSMEs in Pasuruan Regency. This is done to provide added value for MSME actors and the community.
Not only that, the use of DBH-CHT is also optimized in the field of industry and trade. The focus is more on developing superior village potential, such as holding processed fish and pastries training.
"In the beginning, it is nothing but to increase the productivity of MSME/IM activists in Pasuruan Regency, so that it can provide added economic value to realize equitable and equitable community welfare," concluded Regent Irsyad Yusuf.
