21 European Union Countries Interested In Investing In IKN

The State Capital Authority (IKN) of the Archipelago revealed that as many as 21 countries in the European Union were interested in investing in IKN. The IKN Authority held a meeting with representatives from 21 European Union countries. The meeting was attended by the Head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono, Deputy Head of the IKN Authority Dhony Rahajoe and IKN Authority Secretary Jaka Santos.

Meanwhile, representatives from the European Union, including Italy, Poland, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, and other countries. "The interest of European Union countries in the development of IKN will be followed up seriously so that the government's expectations of 80 percent of financing come from investors," said Head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday.

Previously, the Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN) revealed that the Government of Finland and the Government of Spain were interested in collaborating with the Government of Indonesia to be involved in IKN development.

The governments of Finland and Spain met with the Head of the IKN Authority, Bambang Susantono, to discuss cooperation in IKN development.

IKN welcomes countries that want to work together to build the archipelago. Previously, there had been several countries that stated that they wanted to work together, such as Korea and Saudi Arabia.

Head of IKN Authority Bambang Susantono said his party was open to any investor to cooperate in certain sectors.

Currently, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is carrying out massive development in IKN starting from the construction of the Presidential Office, Ministry Office, housing for workers, to roads. The construction of this basic infrastructure is targeted to be completed by 2024.

The IKN Authority itself until 2024 focuses on developing areas in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) 1A to become livable cities with complete facilities to meet their daily needs.
