Former Barca Defenders Pique And Shakira Now More Tenuous, They Achieved Agreements On Asymptomatic Rights

JAKARTA - Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique and Colombian singer Shakira signed the deal on Thursday before the First Level Court and Family number 18 at Barcelona. The deal allows the diva to secure custody of their children, Milan and Sasha.

Pique and Shakira arrived in court at around 9:15 p.m. Spain accompanied by their lawyers, entering the building through different doors.

Pique's lawyer Ramon Tamborero explained to the press that "both are calmer, more relaxed" and they have reached an agreement "on the good side of their children".

"From now on we are waiting for the verdict after the prosecutor agrees to the agreement," he added.

Tamborero also denied reports claiming the agreement prevented Pique from establishing a residence in Miami and neither of the two were allowed to visit their children accompanied in the future.

Meanwhile, neither Shakira nor her lawyers spoke to the press. A few weeks ago, Shakira and Pique said in a statement that they had signed "a agreement that guarantees the welfare of our children" and an agreement awaiting ratification in court "as part of a mere formal process".

People close to Shakira later said that the artist plans to move to Miami with his children early next year.

They are expected to leave Barcelona, the city where the children were born and lived for the past eight years.

The singer of Waka Waka has a place to live in Miami, where her mother's family has lived for the past few years.
