Kejari Pasaman Barat Tahan Bekas Direktur RSUD Yang Terseret Kasus Korupsi
The West Pasaman Kejari, West Sumatra detained the former Director of the HW Hospital who was sent home due to illness related to the alleged corruption case in the construction of the local hospital in the 2018-2020 fiscal year.
"He stated that he was in good health and came to the prosecutor's office on Monday (28/11) for detention and following the investigation process," said Head of the West Pasaman District Attorney's Office Ginanjar Cahya Permana at Simpang Empat, Wednesday, November 30.
His party appreciated the actions of the suspect HW who came to the investigators himself when he felt he was healthy.
This, he said, also denied that the suspect was only pretending to be sick to avoid detention. It is proven that the person concerned is really sick.
"After the person concerned feels healthy, the person concerned himself comes to the prosecutor's office for detention. For now, the suspect is being held at the West Pasaman Police Detention Center," he said.
In that case until now, the West Pasaman District Attorney has named 11 suspects in the case of the construction of the West Pasaman Hospital with a ceiling of more than Rp134 billion.
The 11 suspects are the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) with the initials NI, the liaison or third party with the initials HAM, the Director of PT MAM Energindo with the initials AA, the use of the activity budget or the former Director of the RSUD who is also the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) with the initials Y, BS, HW and the Director of Construction Management with the initials MY.
Then four US, LA, TA and YE committees. Of the 11 suspects, 10 were detained and deposited at the West Pasaman Police Detention Center. Meanwhile, one suspect with the initials BS was sent home or received medical treatment due to illness.
He explained that in the mega project case, allegations of bribery worth Rp. 4.5 billion were also found, construction losses were more than Rp. 20 billion and losses were also found in its planning.
The West Pasaman District Attorney's Office has also received refunds from gratuities bribes and from physical losses of more than Rp5.7 billion.
He detailed that of the total Rp5,770,000,000,000, the money received from bribes and gratuities was Rp4,270,000,000 and from physical losses of Rp1, 5 billion.
"The money will be deposited in the holding account of the West Pasaman District Attorney's Office in one of the existing banks. If later there is a permanent decision from the court, the money will be returned to the West Pasaman regional treasury," he said.
His party through investigators has also handed over two suspects of human rights and NI and evidence to the Public Prosecutor and the investigation of the case files submitted to the Public Prosecutor has been declared complete (P21).
The two suspects are currently being held at the Water Children's Detention Center in Padang for further legal proceedings.
Investigators are currently coordinating with the West Sumatra High Prosecutor's Intelligence team to track the assets of the perpetrators or suspects so that assets will be confiscated later.
Currently, his party is still developing and examining a number of parties. It is possible that there are new suspects according to the investigator's study.
