Korem 142 Mamuju Asks Unanalytic Residents To Respond To Road Development In West Sulawesi
SULBAR - Korem 142 Mamuju Regency asked the public not to take anarchic actions in measuring the land to be used for the construction of arterial roads.
"We hope that the public will not take anarchic actions in response to the government's measurement of the Mamuju arterial road," said Head of Section (Kasi) Intel Korem 142 Tatag Lieutenant Colonel Amran Wahid in Mamuju, West Sulawesi (Sulbar), Tuesday 30 November.
He said the Korem soldiers together with the West Sulawesi Regional Police and the government's integrated team secured land measurements for the construction of arterial roads in Mamuju.
Amran added that the TNI will assist in the construction of a 1.8-kilometer road in Mamuju with the main function of carrying out security so that the land measurement runs peacefully safely and smoothly.
"We are tasked with leading land measurements in the Tambi environment and the New Village environment of Mamunyu Village, Mamuju City to ensure that it runs in accordance with the SOP and applicable regulations," he said.
He said the security carried out was to maintain the stability of Kamtibmas so that everything would run safely and conducively and ensure the safety of both goods and people until the measurement activities were completed.
Amran appealed to residents who refuse to carry out land measurement activities so as not to take anarchic actions but to prioritize dialogue and communication.
"We, as the security side, are ready to facilitate the community to the government and will ensure that the TNI and the police, carry out escorts and are ready to secure community activities so that they end up safe and conducive," he said.
