Owners Of CV Samudera Chemicals Are Official To Be Fugitives Of Bareskrim

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has officially issued a People Wanted List (DPO) status for the owner of CV Samudera Chemical with the initials E. He was originally also a suspect in the case of acute kidney failure in children.

"We have issued a DPO, yes," said Director of Certain Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Pipit Rismanto when confirmed, Saturday, November 26.

Then, in an effort to arrest the fugitive, investigators have also coordinated with the Immigration Office. As a result, suspect E was also officially banned abroad.

"The check has been (issued, red)," he said.

Suspect E began to disappear after his company was raided by investigators and the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). There, dozens of drums of raw materials for making sirop drugs were found that were polluted by eltyen glycol (EG) and dietilen glycol (DEG).

Until now, the boss of CV Samudera Chemical is the only individual suspect in cases of kidney failure in children.

Meanwhile, his company is also a corporate suspect along with PT Afi Farma.

Meanwhile, CV Samudera Chemical and PT Afi Farma are suspects because they are considered to have committed a crime of producing drugs or circulating pharmaceutical preparations that do not meet standards, both in terms of security and benefit.
