Realization Of The New Budget Capai 75.63 Percent As Of November, Ministry Of Transportation Make Sure To Consistently Accelerate Absorption
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) recorded a budget realization of 75.63 percent or as much as Rp. 25.35 trillion of the total ceiling of Rp. 33.51 trillion until November 2022.
"This cumulatively reaches 78 percent or the same as achievements in 2021. This means that our current achievements exceed the target, so that plans will be achieved," said Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi in a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI quoted by Antara, Thursday 24 November.
The Minister of Transportation said that the cumulative figure of 78 percent was obtained if the initial ceiling of the Ministry of Transportation in 2022 was IDR 32.94 trillion and did not change.
He revealed, over time the Ministry of Transportation's budget experienced an automatic adjustment policy, so there were additions and a number of reductions to the end of 2022 ceiling to Rp33.51 trillion.
The Ministry of Transportation has identified a number of obstacles related to contract finalization issues, foreign loans/grants, as well as changes in budget allocations to certain units.
"Apaian memang sedikit rendah tetapi kami konsisten akan melakukan percepatan agar dana ini tersorpang dengan baik," ujarnya.
The Minister of Transportation revealed a number of efforts to accelerate budget absorption until the end of 2022, including optimizing the remaining budgets with a revised mechanism, shifting non-tax state revenues (PNBP) for activities that are service improvement, and anticipating work that is estimated to pass the end of the fiscal year with a bank guarantee mechanism, and conducting regular monitoring and evaluation of all work units.
He hopes that efforts to accelerate budget absorption can be made so that every program that has been planned can be completed on time and provide benefits for the community.
A number of the latest achievements that can be completed by the Ministry of Transportation include the completion of the revitalization of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta, the operation of Kertajati Airport in Subang, West Java, for Umrah flights, the completion of transportation infrastructure at the implementation of the G20 Indonesia Presidency in Bali, to the signing of cooperation agreements for the development of the Bekasi Proving Ground, limited trials of the Makassar-Pare Pare train, to the implementation of sea tolls that continue to increase.
