Kapolda Metro Jaya Ensures To Give Information To Komnas HAM Regarding FPI Laskar Clash And Police
JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran will certainly attend to be questioned at the Office of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).
The visit of Fadil to Komnas HAM was to provide an explanation of the chronology of the clash between the police and the FPI laskar which resulted in the shooting of six special guards of Rizieq Shihab's guard.
"The Chief of Police came to Komnas HAM's invitation. He came to explain himself," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus when confirmed, Monday, December 14.
Based on the schedule, Komnas HAM will ask Inspector General Fadil for information at around 13.00 WIB. Currently, Komnas HAM is requesting a statement from the Director of PT Jasa Marga, Subakti Syukur.
Komnas HAM invited Subakti to ask for an explanation about the death of the surveillance camera or CCTV during the clash at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
As previously reported, the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) formed an investigation team related to the shooting of six special laskar guards Rizieq Shihab which took place at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
Komnas HAM commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara said the Komnas HAM investigation team had made a request for admiration to a number of parties involved in this case. Among them are FPI, witnesses, the families of the six laskar victims who died, and the community.
"The team is also conducting direct field monitoring and is deepening the crime scene," he said.
"This request for information is to complement the various information that has been obtained and is being explored. Hopefully all parties can work together to make the incident clear," continued Beka Ulung.
