TNI AD Will Send Service Units After Falls 1,000 Troops Help Cianjur Earthquake Victims

Thousands of TNI AD soldiers were deployed to assist earthquake emergency response activities in Cianjur Regency, West Java.

Kadispenad Brigadier General Hamim Tohari said that so far the TNI AD has been deployed to assist in post-disaster handling as many as 1,000 soldiers.

"From the closest units such as Yonif R 300/Brajawijaya, Yonarmed 5/Pancagiri and Kodim 0608/Cianjur who have been deployed to help deal with the earthquake in Cianjur," he said, quoted from the official TNI website, Tuesday, November 22.

Hamim said that in the near future the Indonesian Army will also deploy soldiers from service units to help residents affected by the Cianjur earthquake, which reached thousands of people.

He conveyed that the TNI AD service unit from health was ready to help. Including the TNI AD Transportation Briefing Center unit or bekang to establish a public kitchen and zeni.

"Today (Tuesday, November 22), service unit soldiers will be deployed again such as transportation, health and zeni units," he said.
