PT Krakatau Sarana Properti UU Investor Korsel Bangun Kawasan Industri Di Cilegon

JAKARTA - PT Krakatau Sarana Properti (KSP), subholding infrastructure PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, invited South Korean investors to build an industrial area in Cilegon City, Banten, which has a green and environmentally friendly impact.

"During a week we and the Ministry of Industry team visited Ulsan, South Korea, and they were enthusiastic about the implementation of this program in Indonesia," said PT KSP Agung Industrial Estate & Housing Manager Laksono Nugroho in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Monday 21 November.

PT Krakatau Sarana Properti (KSP) as the manager of industrial estates in Cilegon City is accelerating the transformation of Eco Industrial Park (EIP), as an effort to improve environmental, economic and social performance through collaboration in managing environmental issues and natural resources.

According to him, this visit to South Korea, called capacity building, was initiated by Ecosian Co., Ltd in the context of the introduction of Eco Industry which will later be developed in all industrial areas in Indonesia.

During the visit, both parties exchanged ideas and ideas so that the implementation that will soon be realized is of course right on target and very useful and most importantly this concept certainly provides a fairly high advantage for each company.

The government, in this case, the Ministry of Industry, is also very helpful and supports the eco-industrial park program so that it can be realized in various industrial areas in the country.

This was stated by Acting Director of Industrial Region of the Ministry of Industry Jonni Afrizon, and Coordinator of Development of Certain Industrial Estates, Directorate of Industrial Region, Ministry of Industry La Ode Ikar Hastomi who participated in accompanying KSP during a working visit in South Korea yesterday.

Jonni Afrizon said this effort was a positive thing for the progress of industrial estates in Indonesia and the implementation of the Korean EIP model to the KSP industrial area which was chosen as the first pilot project in the Indonesian industrial area.

"The transformation of industrial estates in Indonesia into environmentally friendly industrial areas is important as a government effort to fulfill international commitments related to climate change," he said.

This program from the Korean Government also complements a similar program from UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and SECO (Switzers State Secretariat for Economic Affairs) which are already running.
