PGN Add Jargas Development In Bogor Regency
JAKARTA - Subholding Gas PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PGN Tbk has added to the construction of a household gas network in Bogor Regency, West Java, as an effort to expand the use of energy that is more environmentally friendly and economically friendly.
PGN Director of Sales and Operations Faris Aziz in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, November 21, said that the construction of the household jargas uses the company's internal investment.
On Friday 18 November, PGN distributed the initial natural gas (gas in) at Cibinong City Housing, Sukahati Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java. PGN targets to build 4,500 house connections (SR) in Cibinong.
The implementation of this gas in Cibinong District will continue at Golden Park Housing and its surroundings, Cluster Karadenan, and Bumi Sentosa Housing.
"Today, we are doing gas in for the 2022 jargas program. Hopefully this can be an encouragement and achieve the 2022 target, as well as the following years. Happy enjoying a safer natural gas, available 24 hours, and competitive prices. If you experience problems, you can contact the call center at number 135," said Faris.
Faris thanked the residents for their support, so that PGN could serve the community well.
"The task force is a new lifestyle in enjoying clean energy. Natural gas is the cleanest option, before switching to using EBT, which still takes a long time. Compared to other fossil energy, natural gas has also proven cleaner," explained Faris.
Payment for using jargas is also practical, can go through online platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and LinkAja.
PGN's Director of Infrastructure and Technology Achmad Muchtasyar added that PGN also continues to make optimal efforts so that gas network development in the Bogor area runs in accordance with the applicable SOP and continues to pay attention to HSSE aspects.
According to him, support from all parties, especially local governments, is expected to accompany the smooth development.
"We continue development with 2022 starting at several points through PGN's internal investment scheme of 400,000 SR. The construction of gas networks supports the government in expanding infrastructure and access to natural gas, because the advantages of gas networks can be felt directly by users. The use of gas lines can also contribute to reducing carbon emissions," explained Achmad.
The construction of jargas is also carried out by PGN to reduce imports and energy subsidies, as well as provide environmentally friendly energy fulfillment solutions during the transition to 100 percent use of EBT.
The expansion of gas lines by PGN will cover parts of Sumatra, Java, and eastern Indonesia, so that it becomes an alternative energy that is clean, environmentally friendly, practical, and available at all times.
