The Attorney General's Office For Electronic Evidence Research In The Case Of Alleged Corruption Of BTS Kominfo For State Losses Of Rp. 1 Trillion
The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) continues to investigate the alleged corruption case of the base transceiver station or BTS infrastructure supply project at the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).
Investigators of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Febrie Adriansyah, said that his party was investigating the electronic evidence found.
According to him, this effort is to determine the party to be summoned for questioning, including the possibility of a high-ranking official from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).
"Now looking at the existing evidence, electronic evidence and documents have been analyzed again," he said when met at a building in the South Jakarta area, Saturday, November 19, which was confiscated by Antara.
Febrie said investigators had one week to explore the evidence, after which they began to move to call the relevant parties for further questioning.
"One week after that it moves, it checks who, which one is needed," said the former Kajati of DKI Jakarta.
Meanwhile, regarding the value of state losses caused by projects handled by the Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) Kominfo, it is still being calculated.
According to Febrie, the estimated loss value is IDR 1 trillion from IDR 10 trillion, the procurement contract value of 7,904 blankspot points of BTS towers in the 3T area, left behind, outermost and remote.
"The loss is not yet in coordination with the auditors, the value can grow (from Rp1 trillion)," said Febrie.
On Wednesday, November 3, AGO investigators decided to increase the status of handling cases of alleged corruption in the BTS project in Kominfo to the investigation stage.
A number of witnesses were examined in this case, including Kominfo and BAKTI Kominfo officials, but have not asked for information from the Minister of Communication and Information.
The Director of Investigation at Jampidsus at the Attorney General's Office, Kuntadi, said that the decision to increase the case handling case to the investigation stage was made after the investigator conducted a case title and examined about 60 witnesses at the investigation stage.
"Based on the results of the exposure, it was decided that there had been sufficient evidence to be increased in the investigation of cases of alleged corruption in the provision of BTS infrastructure and supporting infrastructure for Packages 1,2,3,4 and 5 BAKTI Kominfo from 2020 to 2022," said Kuntadi.
Kuntadi said investigators had also conducted searches in five places suspected of being related to the crime, namely the offices of PT Fiberhome Technologies Indonesia, PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta, PT Infrastruktur Bisnis Sejahtera, PT Sansasine Exindo, PT Moratelindo, PT Excelsia Mitraniaga Mandiri, and PT ZTE Indonesia.
"The search results have found important documents related to the handling of the case and we are studying it, and we are investigating it," said Kuntadi.
He said the five project packages handled by the Kominfo Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) were in the 3T area, namely outermost, underdeveloped and remote, such as Papua, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Sumatra and NTT.
The area includes the outermost Indonesian territory, left behind, the most remote of it. In Papua, Sulawesi, Kalimantan exist, in Sumatra, in NTT there are. Then there are a few thousand BTS points," said Kuntadi.
Based on the search results, the project was initiated since the end of 2020 it is divided into two stages with a target of touching 7,904 blankspots and 3T until 2023. The first stage, BTS stands targeted at 4,200 locations completed in 2022 and the rest completed in 2023.
