Ganjar And DPRD Teken KUA-PPS APBD TA 2023
Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo signed a memorandum of agreement on the General Policy on the Provisional Ceiling Priority Priority Budget (KUA-PPS) for the 2023 FY APBD.
The principle of good governance and maintaining integrity is always applied in the process of making these policies.
The signing of the KUA-PPS was held in a plenary meeting of the Central Java legislature in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Central Java Provincial DPRD Building. KUA-PPS will be the basis for the 2023 FY APBD Draft.
"This is just a discussion of each item and usually not too long," said the Governor after the event, Thursday, November 17.
This agreement was reached after going through long negotiations between the executive and the legislature. He explained, this is due to considerations of economic conditions that are still dynamic both today and the future.
"From the existing dynamics, we asked our friends both in the executive and legislature to let's be prioritized, which we haven't been able to catch up with, we are pursuing today," he said.
Also conveyed, in this KUA-PPS it has been agreed that the budget allocation will be given to priority budget posts. For example, related to creating jobs, reducing poverty, and inequality in development between regions, including the matter of the Human Development Index.
"So that the budgets can be included in that priority and can be agreed upon, this is important," he said.
According to the term of office, this will be the last year Governor Ganjar Pranowo has participated in designing the Central Java Provincial Government APBD. Because his term of office will end in September 2023.
The governor emphasized that during his tenure, the principle of prioritizing good governance and maintaining integrity is always prioritized. This is also applied to the process of seeking a KUA-PPS agreement this time.
"It is true that we will oversee so that governance can be carried out, we can maintain integrity and there are benefits that we can provide to the people," he said.
On the time of implementation, the Governor assessed that the signing of these KUA-PPS was still going on as scheduled. He believes that after today's plenary agenda, the discussion of the RAPBD will go according to plan and be completed in due course.
"Alhamdulillah, until today it is still (according to schedule), until the end of November. So if today the big points can be dealt with, God willing, the technicalities will not be difficult," he said.
Deputy Chairperson of the Central Java DPRD, Sukirman, who was appointed as chairman of the trial, appreciated all members and staff involved in the achievement of this KUA-PPS agreement. Sukirman said the intrigue that emerged was part of the political process.
"There is no political process that satisfies all parties, but it is our commitment and consistency to implement it," said the politician from the National Awakening Party.
