Bank Mandiri Recorded KUR Distribution Of IDR 34.38 Trillion In The Fourth Quarter Of 2022
Bank Mandiri recorded that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) until the end of October 2022 reached IDR 34.38 trillion to more than 319 thousand debtors throughout Indonesia.
This amount has reached 85.96 percent of the 2022 target of IDR 40 trillion.
Bank Mandiri SEVP Micro & Consumer Finance Josephus K. Triprakoso said, since 2008 Bank Mandiri has consistently supported the distribution of KUR. This is the company's effort to make a significant contribution to economic development in Indonesia.
"Bank Mandiri as a development agent actively continues to encourage the distribution of KUR in order to spur the economy, especially in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) segment," he said in a statement to the media, Thursday, November 17.
Josephus detailed, from Rp34.38 percent, Bank Mandiri's KUR distribution is still dominated by the production sector which reached Rp20.53 trillion or 59.71 percent of the total KUR realization at the end of October 2022.
"Bank Mandiri's KUR distribution to the productive sector continues to increase from year to year. Among other things, to the agriculture, fisheries sector, production services and the processing industry," added Josephus.
If detailed based on the sector, the realization of KUR distribution was absorbed, among others, to the agricultural sector by 29.34 percent, the production service sector by 20.14 percent, the manufacturing sector by 8.22 percent and the fisheries sector by 1.99 percent.
"Bank Mandiri's KUR is focused on leading productive sectors in each region, both agriculture, fisheries, processing industry, and production services supported by synergies from all business segments, strong coordination across networks, as well as strategic cooperation with financial companies and e-commerce," he explained.
Until the end of the year, Mandiri is optimistic that it can meet the KUR distribution target set by the government.
In addition, Bank Mandiri also continues to make efforts to develop the MSME segment to have high competitiveness.
One of them is through the initiative to develop BUMN Houses as a training and coaching platform that is part of the corporate social responsibility program (TJSL) through BUMN Houses, Bank Mandiri actively provides training and guidance for MSME players. One of them is by utilizing digital ecosystems such as e-commerce and social media to expand the local MSME market.
As a result, since its implementation in 2017, Bank Mandiri has established 22 BUMN (RB) houses spread throughout Indonesia.
Of that number, the total MSMEs that are members of Bank Mandiri's RB are already more than 13,600 MSMEs with a total workforce of 42 thousand.
