Sandiaga Uno Will Announce The 5 Best MSME Winners In BKSS Harvesting Activities In Palembang
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno will announce the five best MSME winners in the South Sumatra Creative Beli (BKSS) activity, which will be held from 18 to 20 November 2022, in Palembang, South Sumatra.
Sandiaga said that BKSS's harvesting was the peak of BKSS activities which was launched on September 14.
This program is a derivative of the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI) and will be implemented for three days in Palembang City.
"During development, 30 of the best onboarding MSMEs will be announced based on the number of sales and there will be 5 champions, one of which has an environmentally friendly concept. Dissemination of incentives will be given to 5 champions," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, November 15.
He said the BKSS series of programs had been going on for three months, ranging from Launching BKSS, BKSS Fair, assisting scale-up businesses, and digital marketing to BKSS participants, Sales Activity (Pop Up Booth), and Marketing BKSS participants.
In this case, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy collaborates with the Government of South Sumatra, Bank Indonesia, Ministry of Finance, LKPP, Pertamina, and the National Police.
In addition, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is also collaborating with the Top Brand of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Top Brand Gernas BBI, Marketplaces, and Media Gernas BBI.
"With the help of these partners, the target of increasing turnover and employment will be achieved and it is also hoped that five percent of them will penetrate the export market," said Sandiaga.
Through this BKSS program, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy hopes that there will be an increase in the contribution of Indonesia's creative economy, as well as the potential for South Sumatra tourism, such as Pagar Alam which is famous for its coffee and also the city of Palembang which is synonymous with its founders.
Sandiaga said, this increase in tourism and the creative economy will also bring closer the target of creating 4.4 million jobs in 2024.
"I have also visited Pagar Alam to the tourist village of Tebat Lereh, who is also famous for its coffee, as well as Palembang City which is synonymous with Pempek culinary, so that later we can find out how many pempeks will sell during BKSS," he said.
