Security Stretch, Polri Sakala Patrols Ahead Of Summit 620 Bali

JAKARTA - The National Police strengthened security before the G20 Summit (KTT) was held in Bali. Scaling patrols are being carried out to anticipate security disturbances.

"This patrol is a means for us to carry out preventive activities in order to minimize security disturbances during the implementation of the G20 Summit," said Karodalops Sops Polri, Brigadier General Endi Sutendi in his statement, Monday, November 14.

Patrols on Sunday night November 13, at least 131 joint personnel were deployed. They are members of Samapta, Sabhara and Brimob from the National Police Headquarters and Bali Police.

The activity started at 21.00 to 06.00 WITA. Hundreds of personnel then combed all roads.

For example, Simpang Silitiga and also the Indonesia Toris Development Corporation (ITDC) Nusa Dua Bali area.

With the holding of the patrol, it is hoped that it will ensure the alertness of all state officials who attend the international event.

"We hope that this patrol will further strengthen guaranteeing security. That we show security officers are always ready and alert," said Endi.

For information, the G20 Summit will be held on November 15-16. Global problems will be discussed by state officials who attend.
