Kaka Talks About The Challenges Of The 2022 World Cup And The Failure Of The Italian National Team
JAKARTA - The legend of the Brazil national team, Ricardo Kaka also commented on welcoming the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. According to Kaka, the preparation of players and each country will have a huge impact on their performance there.
"Yes, everything will have an impact, time, season, warm temperature, distance and therefore will likely affect the process of a team running in the competition," Kaka said.
The 2022 World Cup will be held in a slightly different atmosphere because it will be held in Middle Eastern countries. Given the weather in the country, FIFA decided to postpone the event in the winter of November to December 2022.
With different environmental conditions, Kaka assessed that the players were clearly required to maintain a fit body condition. The reason is, apart from being a new challenge, the 2022 World Cup will also take place only a week from the European competition break.
"It is something new, but players already know what the coach wants, because they are professionals they must be able to regulate conditions. I expect attractive football and a lot of goals," continued the Brazilian.
The 2007 Ballon d'Or winner and AC Milan then discussed the failure of the Italian national team to qualify for the World Cup. Despite being Brazilian but the 40-year-old man admitted that half of his heart was devastated when he learned that the Gli Azzurri had not qualified for the second time in a row.
"Italy, those who did not participate in this year's World Cup also hurt me," he continued.
Kaka herself has strengthened the Brazilian national team for 14 years from 2002 to 2016. He spent 92 games with a collection of 29 goals.
During that time, Kaka successfully presented one World Cup title in 2002 and the Confederation Cup in 2005 and 2009.
