Ribut Dengan Fans Lesti Kejora: Polisi Please Damai, Tapi Dewi Perssik Want Kelanjutkan Proses Hukum
JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police are seeking further mediation in the defamation case by Lesti Billar (Leslar) fans against Dewi Perssik. The police hope that the case reported by Dewi Perssik can be peaceful.
As previously known, Dewi Perssik previously chose to continue the legal process, even though she had forgiven the Leslar fan.
"Yesterday, mediation was done. I didn't know it failed. Because both parties had not met (a bright point). We are trying to mediate, because we are suppressing peace, right," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, Tuesday, November 8.
Nurma revealed that her party was trying to further mediate between the two parties. This is done to solve problems amicably.
"Yes (exceeding mediation)," he concluded.
Previously, it was reported that Dewi Perssik visited the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, November 7 to meet the woman who insulted her again and continue the pending mediation process. The artist, known as Depe, came accompanied by his older brother, Mas Mbi, and also his attorney, Sandy Arifin.
"From our side, we want to continue this legal process in the future, so that there is a deterrent effect, so that someone no longer commits defamation and slanders our client," said Dewi Perssik's attorney, Sandy Arifin.
"So we have agreed, and Mas Bin as the brother representing the mother who was supposed to be here today has said that today's mediation has failed," said Sandy Arifin when met by the media crew at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, November 7.
