Protect KPR Customers With Insurance, PermataBank For Strengthening Bancassurance With Sequis
JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk or PermataBank is committed to providing credit life insurance (AJK) protection for PermataKPR customers. This effort was made by the company in collaboration with Sequis insurance.
Director of Retail Banking PermataBank Djumariah Tenteram explained, AJK products from Sequis Financial provide a minimum coverage money (UP) of IDR 50 million for ages 20-69 years with a coverage period of 1-30 years. Benefits will be given at once (lump sum) the amount of the remaining loan and according to product specifications if the insured dies during insurance coverage.

We also want to strengthen our commitment by collaborating with Sequis Financial in providing protection and comfort for their mortgage ownership," said Djumariah in an official statement, Monday, November 7.
Djumariah also hopes that collaboration with Sequis Financial can expand the variety of insurance products and protection services for the Indonesian people which can be accessed easily through PermataBank's relationship manager and also the mobile banking app, PermataMobile X.
Sequis Financial Director Edisjah added, this product will be marketed through PermataBank's bancassurance distribution channels spread throughout Indonesia.
With this collaboration, Sequis Financial projects an increase in premium income of more than 20 percent.
"The AJK that we provide is affordable and useful as a hedging tool from the risk of the heir's obligation to pay off the remaining mortgage installments caused by debtors who died during the KPR loan tenor," continued Edisijah.
The cooperation, which starts in 2022, will expand the benefits and reach of customers for both parties.
