Valencia 2022 Moto3 Results: Ivan Guevara Rai Champion, Mario Aji Disappeared In 27th Position
JAKARTA - Indonesian racer Mario Aji closed his adventure in Moto3 for the 2022 season with not too good results. In the race at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia on Sunday, November 6 afternoon WIB, Mario was at the back.
Fighting past 23 laps at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Mario Aji, who started the race in 30th, could only go up three places while finishing. The Honda Team Asia racer completed the 2022 Valencia MotoGP in 27th position.
From the results of the qualifications, Mario Aji actually had to undergo racing in the last position. However, due to the incident between Kaito Toba and Jaume Masia which received a starting penalty from the pits, Mario Aji's starting position rose by two places.
Starting the race from the 28th position, Mario Aji immediately shot when the start light was turned off. During the three laps of the race, Mario Aji moved up one position to 27th.
The chase continued with other riders for several rounds, until on lap 11 Mario Aji again shifted his opponent and took position 26. However, Aji's position was not successfully repaired, until the last lap lasted he actually dropped one position to 27th.
While in the fastest position occupied by Izan Guevara. He finished the 2022 season sweetly after becoming the winner in Moto3 Valencia by beating Deniz Oncu.
Guevara and Oncu appear dominant compared to other riders in the 2022 Valencia Moto3. Both have even excelled far from the racers behind since the fourth round.
The heated competition between the two occurred in the final round because Oncu was able to overtake Guevara at turn eight. Oncu almost became the winner of the Valencia 2022 Moto3, but the Red Bull KTM Tech3 racer failed to close Guevara's maneuver at the last corner.
Guevara successfully overtook Oncu at the last corner and entered the straight path to the finish line. Guevara won in Moto3 Valencia 2022 with a lead of only 0.062 seconds over Oncu.
Meanwhile, the third podium of the 2022 Valencia Moto3 was captured by rivals and Guevara team-mates at GasGas, Sergio Garcia, who was 6.557 seconds adrift.
