Schedule Of Autopsi Two Victims Of The Impact Tragedy Released, November 5, 2022
JAKARTA - The autopsy process for the two victims who died in the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, East Java, is planned to be held on November 5, 2022.
Devi Athok's attorney, Imam Hidayat, in Malang City, Monday, said that Devi Athok's two daughters' autopsy, who are residents of Bululawang District, Malang Regency, East Java, was carried out after the family stated that they were willing to do an autopsy.
"The implementation will be carried out on November 5, 2022, at around 09.00 WIB, this must be guarded," said Imam, Monday, October 31, as reported by Antara.
Iman explained that in the near future his party as the victim's attorney will be summoned by the East Java Regional Police regarding the plan to carry out an autopsy on the two bodies with the initials N and N.
The autopsy will involve six experts. One of them came from the Police Medical Team (Dokpol). While the other five came from the Indonesian Forensic Doctors Association (PDFI) and universities.
"So there are six forensic doctors. Yesterday, I was worried that it would only come from Dokpol. But it turns out that there is only one Dokpol, the other PDFI, can be from the university," he said.
Currently, he continued, the victim's family received inherent protection from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). This protection is one of the reasons for the victim's family to dare to ask for an autopsy.
"Families can be protected attached from LPSK. So they are attached everywhere to LPSK officers, so they dare to then express their willingness to return to an autopsy," he said.
The statement of approval for the autopsy has been submitted to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) which was also forwarded to the National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The letter from the family who stated that they were willing to carry out the autopsy had been submitted to the LPSK on October 24, 2022. Apart from going through LPSK, the sending of the letter was done online to related parties.
Devi Athok is the father of two victims of the tragedy that occurred at the Kanjuruhan Stadium. Two of his daughters with the initials N and N became victims of the tragedy that killed 135 people. Previously, the family had agreed to the autopsy process.
However, on October 17, 2022, the East Java Regional Police (Polda) stated that the step to carry out an autopsy on two victims of the tragedy that occurred at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, East Java, was canceled.
The cancellation was due to the fact that the family did not give permission for the autopsy. The police stated that the cancellation of the autopsy was not due to intimidation of the victim's family.
As reported, on Saturday (1/10) there was a riot after the match between Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya with a final score of 2-3 at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency. The defeat caused a number of supporters to go down and enter the field area.
As a result of the incident, 135 people were reported to have died from fractures, trauma to the head, neck, and asphysia or reduced oxygen levels in the body. In addition, it was reported that hundreds of people suffered minor and serious injuries.
