The Papua Star Mountains Can Now Enjoy 24-hour Electricity
PT PLN Regional Main Unit (UIW) Papua and West Papua said that now people in three districts in Bintang Mountains Regency (Pegubin), Papua can enjoy 24-hour electricity, as gifts on the 77th National Electricity Day.General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) Main Unit for Papua and West Papua, Budiono in a press release in Jayapura, Saturday, October 29, said that three districts that have been able to enjoy electricity for 24 hours are Kalomdol, Oksibil and Serambakon Districts."Previously, people only enjoyed electricity for six hours," he said, as reported by Antara.According to Budiono, the three districts were supplied directly by the Dabolding Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) with a capacity of 2x500 kW and the Hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 2x60 kW so that it managed to electrify for 24 hours."That way a total of 980 customers are spread across Imik Village, Arinkop Village, Dabolding Village, Okmakot Village, Mabilabol Village, Kampung Kabiding, Banumdol Village, Kutdol Village and Yapimakot Village have received direct PLN electricity services," he said.He explained that in electricitying, his party always needs support and synergy from various parties in realizing a reliable electrical system."We are happy because in the midst of the joy of the presence of PLN for 77 years, we can also be here to help the people in Pegubin Regency," he said again.He added that his party is making improvements in terms of the electricity system and maintaining reliability and improving services so that it is hoped that there will be support from the community to support all available electricity assets.For your information, the Operational Receipt (STO) was previously carried out between PLN and the Bintang Mountains Regency Government to coincide with the 77th National Electricity Day.The Regent of the Bintang Spei Mountains Yan Bidana, Head of the Timon Levi Ketengban Tribe and Director of EBTKE Infrastructure Planning and Development, Hendra Iswahyudi, is located in the courtyard of the Kalomdol District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, Thursday 27 October.
