Encourage UMK To Upgrade To The Class And Expenditure Market Expenditure, Sucofindo Leave 26 Halal Certificates
PT Sucofindo as a BUMN for Survey Services handed over a halal certificate to 26 Small Micro Enterprises (UMK) in order to realize the target of 10 million Halal Certificate Products in 2022.
"The submission of this halal certificate is PT Sucofindo's commitment to the program of the Ministry of Religion's Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) to realize 10 Million Halal Chaotic Products," said PT Sucofindo President Director Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi in a statement quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 25.
He added that this halal certificate program is part of the BUMN Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program for 1,000 Free Halal Certificates so that UMKs with certificates are able to provide certainty of their products according to applicable standards.
"We hope that this halal certificate can encourage MSMEs to advance to class and can expand to the export market. The implementation of guarantees for halal products aims to provide comfort, security, safety, and certainty of the availability of halal products for the public in consuming and using products. In addition, it aims to increase added value for business actors in producing and selling halal products," said Mas Wigrantoro.
UMK whose products are certified halal has gone through the certainty activity of the halal product guarantee system, the Silal application workshop, and the examination of halal products by LPH PT Sucofindo.
"Furthermore, we accompanied the halal fatwa trial process by the Fatwa Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), until the issuance of a halal certificate by BPJPH," said Mas Wigrantoro.
In an effort to restore the national economy, Sucofindo through his role as a BUMN for Survey Services will continue to be adaptive to creating innovations and collaborating to help business actors.
"In addition, we are committed to providing sustainable services, by continuing to transform information technology-based businesses, producing various digital-based business innovations, and establishing ourselves as a Digital Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Company," said Mas Wigrantoro.
