The Case Of The Luwu Sarang Pungli Police And Corruption, South Sulawesi Police: Not Evidenced, All In Accordance With The Rules

The Propam of the South Sulawesi Police (Sulsel) has made evidence by investigating allegations of "extortion and corruption" written by a police officer named Aipda HR at the Luwu Police Station. As a result, no extortion was found at the Luwu Police Station.

Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes Pol Komang Suartana, said the investigation was carried out after the "sararang extortion and corruption" on the walls of the Luwu Police went viral on social media.

"The results of the investigation and examination by Propam are not proven. Meanwhile, Aipda HR members who have crossed out are still under the supervision of the team of doctors at the Dadi Makassar Hospital," he said confirmed in Makassar, South Sulawesi, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 23.

Komang said that the alleged extortion in the construction of a driving license (SIM) by members of the Luwu Police Traffic Unit uploaded by Aipda HR on Facebook was not proven.

He stated, from the results of examinations in the field, all costs for making a SIM at the Luwu Police Traffic Unit were in accordance with the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) price.

"What is alleged in the upload is not proven, everything goes according to the rules," he said.

Previously, the South Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Nana Sudjana met with Aipda HR members who were members of the Luwu Police. The meeting took place at the Dadi Makassar Regional Special Hospital (RSKD).

The Kapolda said the incident of removing the walls of the Luwu Police Traffic Unit and Criminal Investigation Unit with the words "sararang extortion and corruption" caused a stir on social media.

He admitted that he had received a report from the Police Chief that Aipda HR had suffered from a mental disorder for the past year.

"Based on the search of his track record, this is indeed several times he often screams like that. During an apple and when he was in the mosque, sometimes he screamed like he had a mental disorder," he said.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police added that Aipda HR has been well cared for by a team of doctors and will continue to monitor developments from the results of his health observation.

"There has been no observation because according to the doctor it takes time to see the results of the observations, unlike other medical diseases," he said.
