West Sulawesi General Election Commission Joins The Form Of A Professional Adhoc Body

The KPU of West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) is determined to form a professional Adhoc Board for the 2024 General Election in November this year.

Head of the Human Resources and Community Participation Division of the West Sulawesi (Sulbar) KPU, Adi Arwan Alimin in Mamuju, Saturday, said that his party had coordinated with the central KPU regarding the formation of the Adhoc Board for the 2024 Election and the launch of the KPU Member Information System and the AdHoc Agency (SIAKBA).

He said the meeting was in order to prepare for the recruitment of the sub-district and village and sub-district-level Adhoc Board throughout Indonesia, including in West Sulawesi.

According to him, complete organizing data is needed to organize election organizing organizations to make them more solid, organized, in the context of KPU services in the simultaneous elections and regional elections in 2024.

"Electoral organizers in West Sulawesi have been emphasized to work in an orderly manner according to the principles of holding elections," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

Adi Arwan said that the KPU in West Sulawesi and the KPU in all regencies must also strive to realize themselves as a national and independent institution.

"Electoral organizers are important people to advance Indonesia's development, especially political development, so they must be born with a quality, professional, honest and independent Adhoc Board," he said.

He conveyed that the community was getting smarter, so political decisions must involve the community and create transparent and quality elections.

"The Adhoc Body recruitment process will be carried out on November 16, 2022 in West Sulawesi," said Adi.
