Alec Baldwin Kenang Mendiang Halyna Hutchins Who Dies In The Rust Filming Location

JAKARTA - October 21 has become one year since the departure of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust. Actor and producer Alec Baldwin paid tribute by uploading a photo of Hutchins.

"Today was one year ago," Alec Baldwin wrote via Instagram.

In the uploaded photo, Halyna Hutchins is seen holding her camera carefully.

Halyna Hutchins died on October 21, 2021 after Alec Baldwin's gun fired bullets and killed Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

One year after his departure, Alec Baldwin received demands from Hutchins. But two weeks ago, this case found a point of settlement between Baldwin and Hutchins.

This completion was signed by Matthew Hutchins, Halyna Hutchins' husband. Launching Deadline, the production process for the film Rust will begin in early 2023.

"I am not interested in being involved in accusations or mistakes (to the producer or Mr. Baldwin). We all believe Halyna's death was a terrible accident," Matthew Hutchins said in a statement.

"I am grateful that the producers and the entertainment community have gathered to pay their respects to Halyna's last work," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Santa Fe District Attorney released a statement on the same day. They look forward to the results of the report before the indictment on the one-year death of Halyna Hutchins.

"On the commemoration of the tragedy of the film Rust in Santa Fe, District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altweis remains committed to pursuing justice for the victims, and getting answers to the public," said a statement from Heather Brewer as Santa Fe District Attorney.

After the Regional Prosecutor receives a complete report from the Santa Fe County Sheriff, they will review all the evidence thoroughly and make a wise decision whether to file charges against those involved. No one is above the law and every victim has the right to justice," the statement concluded.
