The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Sindir Officers Who Disobedience Report LHKPN In NTT
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) satirized officials in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) who did not report their assets. The KPK found that there were still many executive and legislative members in NTT who had not submitted the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).
"The executive LHKPN in NTT reached 77.45 percent and the legislature was 85.59 percent," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata in a written statement, Thursday, October 20.
Alexander asked officials in NTT to immediately report as a form of transparency and prevention of corruption. This data must show 100 percent.
"From the incoming data, it is hoped that local governments will be able to complete compliance with the LHKPN report up to 100 percent and encourage transparency in government management so that it can reduce the number of incoming complaints," he said.
In addition, the NTT Provincial Government was asked to increase the value of monitoring center of prevention (MCP). Alex highlighted that NTT only got 24 percent in the assessment.
Improvements in MCP can be done by improving governance. The KPK is willing to help the NTT Provincial Government to provide system improvement suggestions.
Alexander reminded that this improvement must be done immediately. Moreover, there are many reports of alleged corruption that come from the NTT region.
"Based on the number of complaints submitted to the KPK from 2019 to 2022, there are 275 reports," he concluded.
