Meeting The Ukrainian Ambassador, The Minister Of Communication And Information: We Optimize The Development Of Human Resources In The Digital Sector
JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate received a visit from the Ukrainian Ambassador to Indonesia HE Vasyl Hamianin on Tuesday, October 18 yesterday.
During the meeting, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and Ukraine discussed the continuation of cooperation in the field of human resource development (HR) for the Digital Sector.
"Earlier, we discussed the potential for cooperation between Indonesia and Ukraine, especially in the field of talent, both for ICT infrastructure downstream and cyber security," Johnny said in a release.
According to him, Indonesia and Ukraine continue to build good cooperative relations, despite the current geopolitical situation in Ukraine.
The sustainability of relations between the two countries is expected to be well maintained, especially in the development of cooperation in the digital field.
"Because previously there had been private sector cooperation between Indonesia and Ukraine that had been running before the war. Meanwhile, some have stopped because of the displace, colleagues in Ukraine have moved from place to place due to the conflict," he explained.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Indonesia Vasyl Hamianin stated that his first visit to the Ministry of Communication and Informatics was a good momentum to continue cooperative relations with the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
According to Vasyl Hamianin, the meeting with the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate emphasized the important meaning of the continuation of digital cooperation, which is currently the world's attention and focus.
Vasyl Hamianin stated that the two countries have the same vision in developing the digital sector.
"This (digital sector) will control all processes, including logistics, security and other sectors. Basically, Ukraine is fine in the development of IT (information technology) and Indonesia is fine, it's very important that we have a lot in common," said Vasyl.
Through the meeting, Vasyl Hamianin hoped that Indonesia and Ukraine could continue to build good relations and develop various digital sector security programs and systems.
"We can continue to do this to ensure cyber security such as military security, IT security and generally for the sake of progress and development of our society in terms of economic business," he said.
