New Season Apex Legends, Eclipse Shows New Legend Named Catalyst In Early November
JAKARTA - Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts (EA) have confirmed that the next season from Apex Legends, Eclipse will begin soon. Based on the announcement contained on the official EA website, Eclipse will begin on November 1.
This new season will add a new legend, namely Tressa Smith aka Catalyst, which is said to be able to use ferrofluids to manipulate battlefields.
Launching from Polygon, Catalyst is trans, and is one of many LGBTQ characters in Apex Legends. This character was voiced by actor Meli Grant.
In developing its character, according to a report from GamesRadar, Respawn also collaborated with consultants from GLAAD and trans-employee themselves. Apex Legends also features a non-binary legend named Bloodhound.
The latest uploaded videos of Stories from the Outlands also offer more backgrounds on how Tressa enters the Apex Games.
Tressa and her friend Morgot sneaked into the restricted area often Robotics to stop her from exploiting the moon, Boreas. Unknowingly, Tressa became involved in an eco-terrorist plot and conflict with her in a setup for her to join the Apex Games.
The latest season from Apex Legends can be played on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Switch on November 1. Look forward to more details from Wccftech over the coming weeks.
