The Body Of A Woman At The West Jakarta BKB Turns Out To Be An IPB Student Who Was Dragged By A Flood In Bogor

JAKARTA - A woman's body was found floating in the West Flood Canal (BKB), Besi Bridge, Tambora District, West Jakarta, Sunday, October 16.

The victim's body was evacuated by the DKI Jakarta Basarnas together with the Tambora Police.

When found, the woman's body was wearing a black t-shirt.

From the identification results, the victim was an IPB student who had disappeared after being swept away by the flood currents.

The incident occurred when the victim was about to go to campus in the Tanah Cereal area, Bogor, Tuesday, October 11.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama said, after receiving information, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit together with the identification of the West Jakarta Metro Police visited the location where the bodies were found.

"We are also coordinating with the dki Basarnas to evacuate the corpse," said Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, October 16.

After examining the body, no injuries were found as a result of the persecution

"There were no injuries and no signs of abuse against the woman's body," he said.

The identity of the victim was only discovered after the Police coordinated with the Head of the DKI Jakarta Basarnas Team.

"We received information that an IPB campus student named Adzra Nabila was missing due to being dragged by the water current during heavy rains. We also found a video recording showing an IPB campus student named Adzra Nabila still wearing a black t-shirt with a brown veil and using a Honda Scopy motorbike being dragged by the current and suddenly lost into the water channel," he said.

It is strongly suspected that the body found was the body of Adzra Nabila.

"To ensure this, we will send it to the RSCM and will contact the family for further examination," he said.
