Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Rejects Lawyers Provided By The Police

The suspect in a drug case, Inspector General Teddy Minahasa, refused the lawyer appointed by the National Police to accompany him. He insisted that he be accompanied by his own team of lawyers.

"The Polda Metro Jaya has prepared a lawyer from the National Police, from Polda Metro Jaya because he is still a member of the National Police. But he refused," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Saturday, October 15.

Teddy expressed the refusal when he was about to be questioned as a suspect on Saturday. Originally, he would be stalked by a statement at the Police Propam Division.

With this rejection, the investigation team of Polda Metro Jaya accommodated his request. Thus, the examination process was postponed until next week.

"He refused, so we accommodated his request for a re-examination on Monday," said Zulpan.
