TANGERANG - A middle-aged woman named Ririn (58) became a victim of a student stabbing who was carrying out a brawl. South Tangerang Police Chief (Tangsel), AKBP Sarly Sollu confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Jalan KH Dewantoro, Ciputat, South Tangerang, Saturday, October 8, at 03.30 WIB.
The incident began when two groups of students arranged their promises via social media messages to carry out brawls in the area.
Then the brawl took place, resulting in two victims being stabbed, namely the brawler with the initials AN, a Paramarta and Ririn junior high school students.
The victim, who was passing through the crime scene (TKP), was trapped in the middle of a brawl.
Ririn's victim who was passing by the crime scene to shop for vegetables at Ciputat Market was hit by a knife from the Paramarta Junior High School group, said Sarly, Thursday, October 13.
Sarly said that Ririn suffered stab wounds due to a knife type knife on her back and waist.
"Ririn suffered stab wounds on her back," he said.
Meanwhile, there was one of the students who was also the victim of the brawl. He suffered a stab wound to the back of the head.
The South Tangerang City SMAN 9 group numbered 15 people, the Paramarta Junior High School group with 8 parties immediately fought at the TKP. At the time of the brawl, AN (SMP Paramarta) was hit by a stab wound to the back of the head," he said.
Due to this incident, the police followed up by hunting down the students who carried out the brawl. As a result, 10 students were arrested.
"There are 5 SMAN 9 groups of South Tangerang City, each with the initials AR, NM, RA, RF, and RG. Then the Paramarta SMP group each has the initials ZA, AN, RAP, KP, and AF," he said.
The police secured evidence in the form of 7 types of weapons used by the perpetrators.
Despite being students, the perpetrators were subject to multiple sanctions, namely Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and or Article 2 Paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning Sharp Weapons, and Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 10 years in prison.
