Crush Bantah Applicables To Rasis To Black Fans, Here's An Explanation
JAKARTA - Singer Crush denies that he is called racist to a black fan. A video of his appearance went viral and was highlighted by the public.
On October 9, Crush appeared at the SOMEDAY P problemOMA 2022 festival at Yonsei University. He sang a number of songs and had time to greet fans by high-five.
Several videos show Crush hinting at resistance when it comes to high-fives with two black fans. However, Crush continued to top up with other fans.
One fan via Twitter said that Crush's actions hurt her heart a lot. Moreover, Crush is called his favorite singer.
"I don't think Crush can avoid this. I want everyone to know what he did," wrote the account @tulipyeo.
Another account claiming to be a friend of @tulipyeo wrote, Our hearts hurt knowing this happened to us. We have never felt discriminatory in life, especially from our favorite artists.
The next day, Crush made posts in two languages, namely Korean and English. He called the evading action a security guard.
"The fans were too close to the boundary fence in the audience area and I saw that the audience in the front row continued to be pushed," wrote Crush.
Therefore, Crush chose not to approach fans for safety. He declared the move a form of security even though after that he greeted fans in other rows of spectators.
I sincerely apologize for misunderstanding my actions. I love all my fans and will not discriminate against them," he continued.
