Langka Opportunities From The Provincial Government, 100 Village Heads In Bengkulu Can Lecture Free If Qualifying Selection
BENGKULU - Head of the Bengkulu Province Community and Village Empowerment Service, RA Denni, said that 100 village heads in the Bengkulu Province had free tuition opportunities from the provincial government."There will be 100 village heads studying in Bengkulu this year," he said in Bengkulu City, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 11.Denni said that the selection of participants for the free lecture program for village heads was carried out by the Bengkulu Open University.Selection is also carried out based on recommendations from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration.Denni explained that the Bengkulu Provincial Community and Village Empowerment Service received files from 200 village heads who registered to participate in free lecture programs and chose 100 of them as program participants.The elected village heads were able to take a strata one education with the support of costs from the provincial government.According to Denni, the provincial government will pay a tuition fee of IDR 2.8 million per semester to the Open University for every village head who passes the selection to take part in a free lecture program.He said that the free lecture program for village heads was part of the provincial government's efforts to improve the quality of village government officials.
