ICU Project ICU North Lombok Hospital Demandd 8 Years In Prison And State Losses Replacement Rp1.37 Billion
MATARAM - The defendant Darsito as the beneficiary of PT Apro Megatama as the executor of the project to add to the operating room and ICU at the North Lombok Hospital, West Nusa Tenggara, was sentenced to eight years in prison and a fine of Rp. 300 million, subsidiary to four months in prison.Spokesperson for the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputra, said that the public prosecutor in his indictment also charged the defendant Darsito to pay compensation for state losses of Rp. 1.37 billion."The amount of money to compensate for state losses has been reduced by those deposited at the investigation and trial stages," said Efrien in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, October 11.The trial for the alleged corruption case in the construction project of the North Lombok Hospital at the Mataram Corruption Court was held on Monday, October 10.If the defendant is unable to pay the replacement money until the time limit, the defendant Darsito must replace it with a body imprisonment for four years.Efrien said the demands for the defendant Darsito were the highest compared to the three other defendants, namely Syamsul Hidayat who acted as Budget User Authority (KPA), Bakri as Commitment Making Officer (PPK), and Sulaksono, CV Supervisory Consultant Director Citra Pandu Utama."So, only Darsito (suspected) was sentenced to eight years in prison and charged a replacement money, for others (prodicted) 7.5 years in prison," he said.To the other three defendants, the prosecutor in the trial also asked the panel of judges to impose a similar fine with the defendant Darsito, which was Rp. 300 million each, subsidiary to four months in prison.The prosecutor stated that the actions of the four defendants were proven in the primary indictment, namely Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001.The claim is based on the results of the prosecutor's consideration that the defendants have never committed an unlawful act and the good faith of the defendant Darsito who attempted to recover state losses by depositing Rp170 million from the value of state losses of Rp1.57 billion to the state treasury."For the aggravating, the four defendants did not support efforts to eradicate corruption and the actions of these defendants were related to the management of post-emparate recovery funds," explained Efrien.The RSUD project, which ran in 2019, funding came from the North Lombok APBD with a budget value of Rp. 6.4 billion. Based on the results of the audit, it was found that state losses worth Rp. 1.57 billion due to delayed work resulted in project fines.
