2 This Makes Bima Sakti Difficulty The Rotation Of Indonesian U-17 Players
JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-17 team performed so brilliantly in Group B Qualifying the 2023 U-17 Asian Cup. Three matches ended with three wins.
However, behind the turmoil, there are things that make the coach, Bima Sakti, dizzy. He admitted that it was difficult to rotate the players.
There are eight pillar players who have always been the mainstay of the Milky Way. They are Andrika Fathir (kiper), Muhammad Iqbal Gwijangge, Habil Abdillah, Sulthan Zaky, Muhammad Riski Afrisal, Muhammad Kafiatur Rizky, Arkhan Kaka and Rizdjar Subagja.
"It was (the difficulty of playing) because the time between matches was tight and considering the tension of the match," said Bima Sakti, as reported by Antara.
The eight players have always played since the start in matches against Guam, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Palestine.
From them, Arkhan Kaka became the most prominent among all with six goals he scored against Indonesia in Group B.
The note temporarily put him in second place with the most fertile U-17 2023 Asian Cup Qualifiers, under Chinese player Wang Yudong who already bagged seven goals.
Bima Sakti admits that he actually wants to field names that rarely play when the U-17 national team meets Guam in the inaugural match in Group B.
However, it was not done because he wanted to get maximum points from the first match.
"We want to take a safe point to increase the confidence of the players," said Bima.
