SERANG - Cikande Polsek Serang melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) penemuan mayat gantung di kontan milik Yadi di Kampung Kawall, Desa Tambak, Kecamatan Kibin, Kabupaten Serang.
Cikande Police Chief Kompol Andhi Kurniawan said the 32-year-old victim was a private employee.
"The victim is a man with the initials PM (32), a laborer at PT. Timas Suplindo, Kibin District. When found, the victim was in a decomposed condition with his neck entangled in a mine," Andhi said in a written statement received Friday night, October 7.
Andhi explained that the body of the man from Bengkulu was first discovered by Sarnan (47), a local resident, at around 16.30 WIB.
"The victim was first discovered by a witness named Sarnan who was suspicious because his rented environment smelled an unpleasant odor. Then the witness was curious and traced every rented room. While in front of the victim's rented door, blood was found coming out of the rented room," said Andhi.
Sure enough that the foul smell came from inside the rented house, Sarnan reported his discovery to Astri Irwati (37) a midwife and mother of the village head.
Then, Astri accompanied by Gultom (36), a colleague of the victim, came to the location to check the truth.
"Arriving at the location, and the door to the victim's rented room was opened, it turned out that the rotten smell came from the victim's body which was found hanging. The incident was then reported to the Police," he explained again.
Andhi explained that from the results of the examination of witnesses, the victim lived in the rented house with his wife and child, but for about 2 weeks the wife and child no longer live with the victim.
"So for 2 weeks the victim lived alone and the victim worked at PT. It is known that Suplindo's Timas did not come to work from Tuesday, the 3rd or 4th day," said Andhi.
Andhi revealed that the case experienced by the victim was still being investigated and the motive and cause of death were not yet known because they had to wait for the results of the examination by the team of doctors.
"We are still investigating, Criminal Investigation personnel are still investigating the crime scene," concluded Andhi.
