Pertamina Gives An Overview Regarding Differences In Non-Subsidized Fuel Price Adjustments
JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga, Subholding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) has again adjusted the selling price for the general type of fuel (JBU) or non-subsidized fuel, namely Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Perta Dex.For Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), there is a price adjustment to Rp14,950 and for Pertamax (RON 92) to Rp13,900. Meanwhile, for Dexlite (CN 51), there is a price adjustment to Rp17,800 and Perta Dex (CN 53) the price is Rp18,100 per liter. This price applies to the province with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent like in the DKI Jakarta area.Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting stated that the price of non-subsidized fuel will continue to be adjusted following the trend of the average price of oil publications, namely the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS).Regarding the difference in price adjustments in the Pertamax Series and Dex Series products, Irto explained that this was caused by global energy conditions, one of which was geopolitical in Eastern Europe. This condition causes high demand for gas fuel products around the world, and one substitution of gas fuel products is diesel fuel whose price refers to MOPS Kerosene.This “ MOPS Kerosene is a reference for prices for raw materials for diesel products. The high demand and limited raw materials keep the price high, even though the world oil price trends are decreasing, ” he said.Even so, the increase and price reduction are different in each region.
