Procurement Of 300 Thousand Electric Compulsors Canceled, But PLN Continues Trial
JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN ensured that the government's plan to distribute 300,000 electric stoves had been canceled. However, trials in two areas, namely Solo and Denpasar, continue and are waiting for an evaluation of the implementation.
PLN Director of Distribution Adi Priyanto revealed that the induction electricity stove program previously launched by the government as many as 300,000 units worth Rp1.8 million was canceled, respectively.
"(The program for distributing electricity stoves) is not finished, right," he said when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Thursday, September 29.
Regarding the trial of the electrical stove conversion program that has been carried out, Adi said, it is still running. As is known, PLN has started trials of using electric stoves in Solo, Central Java, and Denpasar, Bali.
After the trial process is complete, the company will conduct an evaluation to be reported to the government later. But unfortunately, Adi did not provide information on when the trials in the two areas would be completed, nor when the trial evaluation would be carried out.
"Jalan, we will see what kind of customer behavior will be, that's right, then we will record what the weakness will be, what are the advantages and of course we will report it to the government later," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the government plans to distribute an electric stove package worth Rp. 1.8 million. The package will be distributed to 300,000 families. The distribution of this electric stove package is in an effort to migrate the use of electric stoves from a 3kg LPG gas stove.
