3 Motors Break Down In 10 Minutes, Bulk Victim Firefighters At Pesanggrahan Consider The Perpetrators Specializing
JAKARTA - Yajid Nurhadi (25) a firefighter (damkar) in the Pesanggrahan South Jakarta sector said that his motorbike thief had broken the lock of his colleague's motorbike at the fire post. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, September 19.
"5 to 6 motorbikes. The park is moving, only in the same area. Lexy's motorbike has broken, Beat's motorbike is also broken," Yajid said when met at the Pesanggrahan Police, Thursday, September 29.
"But because I might (not start the engine), so it won't be taken. My motorbike was taken," he continued.
Yajid also saw from CCTV footage that there were two perpetrators. They can be said to be specialists in theft, because they were able to break into 3 motorbikes within 10 minutes.
"It happened quickly just 10 minutes. 3 motorbikes were broken. It's been a specialist, it's normal for him," he said.
In fact, based on information, the two perpetrators of the theft before stealing their motorbikes, also acted in the Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) Jalan Pancoran, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta and the victims were PPSU officers who were working.
"Before the incident at my place, PPSU used to be around 12 o'clock (in the afternoon). So after the PPSU was taken, the motorbike was stolen. The stolen motorbike was used to my place at 2 o'clock. So coming to the sector using a stolen motorbike," he said.
Reportedly, the perpetrator has been arrested on Tuesday, September 20. However, Yajid's motorbike has not been found, because the perpetrator has sold it.
Yajid revealed that the wife of one of the perpetrators had contacted her. He said he wanted to settle it amicably and intended to compensate his motorbike.
"Yes, so after the incident, the next day I immediately caught it. It's just my motorbike that hasn't been found, that's why I came here (Polsek Pesanggrahan) I wanted to ask," said Yajid.
