TANAH BUMBU - A national road in the Satu sub-district, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan has collapsed into a coal mining hole. As a result, the speed of the vehicle to people is disrupted.South Kalimantan National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) Syauqi Kamal said the impact of the landslide on Wednesday, September 28 in the morning destroyed a 200-meter national road and 20 meters of prone collapse status."The factors that caused the landslide were due to changes in environmental conditions on the national side of the road," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday night.Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the Tanah Bumbu Hairil Bakri BPBD explained that 27 houses were damaged and one house without occupants also collapsed into the dug hole."There were no casualties," he said at the location.Until now, the cause of the landslide that caused harm to the state and society, both from a material point of view to this environment, has yet to be ascertained by the Tanah Bumbu BPBD."We have not officially determined the cause. Currently, field data verification is still being carried out," he said. However, he said, many people assessed that the cause of the landslide was due to the rampant coal mining activities. "The mine pit range with a national road is about one meter," he said.Regarding alternative routes, authorities in Tanah Bumbu are currently making coal transportation roads a temporary crossing.Following that, the South Kalimantan BPJN will soon build an alternative route on the side of the damaged national road. This is important so that transportation activities continue to move, for example, food and energy distribution.
