Minister Of Religion Yaqut Gives Special Emphasis When Meeting Madrasas Students In Pekalongan, Don't Exclusive Respect For Differences

PEKALONGAN - Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas invites students of Pekalongan City, Central Java, to appreciate differences of attitude, not to feel right on their own from others."We don't want madrasa graduates when they enter the community to have an exclusive attitude, namely attitudes that feel right from others, do not respect differences, both religion, ethnicity, nation, and language to the community," he said in Pekalongan, Antara, Wednesday, September 28.This was conveyed by Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas at the "Ngobrol Pendidikan (Ngopi)" event with Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia (MAN IC) Pekalongan City student.Strengthening the flow of digitalization in the current era of technology makes it easy for some people to be exposed to conservative sects. However, said the Minister of Religion, his party ensured that the findings of the intolerance had not yet taken root in society."Earlier I listened to the song mars madrasa, in which one of the poems reminded the motto of the Ministry of Religion 'Ikhlas Charity'," he said.According to him, the madrasas part of the Ministry of Religion is oriented as a religious service and education in all religions, not just Islam.Yaqut Cholil assessed that from the spirit of poetry, the madrasa mars showed that madrasas students, especially Madrasah Aliyah students of Insan Cendekia State (MAN IC) Pekalongan City, were prepared to accept the existing differences."The consequence of the mars they sing must really be the person who characterizes as an Indonesian nation, namely accepting the destiny that Indonesia in its nature is indeed different ethnicity, nation, religion, and language, and is able to live a peaceful life together," he said.
