The Milwaukee Buck Instagram Account Was Stormed By Indonesian Netizens After The Official Initial Marques Bolden

JAKARTA The NBA basketball team's Instagram account Milwaukee Buck was flooded with Indonesian netizens after Marques Bolden was recognized as a new player.

Bolden, who is a naturalized Indonesian player, was introduced to the 2021 NBA champion on their social media and official website on Monday, September 26 Indonesian time.

"Welcome to Milwaukee [Buck], Marques [Bolden]," the club wrote with the deer head logo on their official Instagram account which has 4.1 million followers.

The upload was immediately flooded with comments from Indonesian accounts. Among them are the official accounts of the Indonesian basketball team and the official accounts of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL).

"Let' Go!! Marques," wrote the IBL account.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian basketball team account sent comments with fire emotions five times. Then hundreds of other comments followed.

According to several American media reports, Bolden has just pocketed the contract of Exhibit 10.

This contract is an NBA deal with a one-season minimum salary that allows clubs to convert contracts into a two-way deal during the changes before the start of the regular season.

Thus, there is no guarantee that Bolden will enter the main roster for the 2022/2023 season. He still has to prove himself during training camp and pre-season.

Bolden has played in seven NBA games (with the Cleveland Cavaliers) during the 2020 and 2021 regular seasons with a playing time of 4.6 minutes per game.

After that, Bolden was naturalized to be an Indonesian player and appeared at the Hanoi SEA Games this year. He immediately succeeded in helping Merah Putih win a gold medal for the first time in the history of the Southeast Asian area.
